Wine is one of the most popular and favoured of all beverages in the world with people consuming it during any occasion, be it parties, weddings or even to unwind during a quiet night at home. While you should in no way replace your daily vitamins with glasses of wine, it is interesting to note that wine can in fact play a huge role in boosting your immune system, for moderate consumption of alcohol can ward off a large number of infections and keep your body much healthier.  The key word here however is moderate because excessive consumption of anything will have negative effects on your health.

Wine contains high levels of silicon which plays a huge role in increasing your bone density reduces any chances of osteoporosis. Hence, it is a good move to sometimes substitute your daily glass of milk for a relaxing glass of wine.


4: WINE REDUCES RISKS OF STROKES:

The phenol content in wine apart from increasing your bone density also acts as a natural blood thinner which will break up all your clots that have a chance of leading to a stroke.  Studies have also found that the resveratrol found in grapes can also help protect you from strokes if these grapes are turned into wine. However, as mentioned above, anything not done in moderation can harm you, thus it is important to not drink excessively for this has an opposite effect on your health by increasing chances of strokes.

The procyanidins present in wine, apart from preventing heart diseases and strokes also help reduce cholesterol.  The resveratrol content in grapes too helps to decrease bad cholesterol or LDL which is extremely harmful for your body and health at large. Thus if you are suffering from high levels of cholesterol or even blood pressure, it is beneficial to consume a glass of medicinal red wine every day.
